Sturdy solid and practical - modification needed (in my case anyway)

After fitting and filling the barrel with water the cups only filled to one third capacity, the float is a bit light for the purpose and closed a bit soon, I unscrewed the cover and put a couple of 3/8 dia washers over the float and this allows the cup to fill almost to the top. The drinker is very sturdy and good value - will certainly purchase more when required.

excellent wee book gives you detailed step by step instructions, my 10 year old grandson is now hooked on whittling !!

Axminster Variable Output Pyrography Station

Not for continuous use

I bought this for light hobby work, using the kit for a few nights over the winter, however the temperature control has now failed and rendered the machine useless. The warranty having expired just a few weeks before and cannot get spare parts. The machine did the job whilst it lasted but left disappointed by the breakdown.
