10° to 20° Angle Guides Set for Sharpening Knife on Stone - Blue AngleGuide

It's all in the wrists

Good product well designed and easy to use. Still you need to guide the knife across the stone freehand, coming back to the guide on each stroke. This will allow your average angle of attack to improve and become more consistent. It has helped me become more aware of how my wrists are subtly affecting angle as I leave the guide. I also now realize that trying to achieve a 17% angle vs. a 20% angle freehand is nearly impossible, which in itself had value.
