Consider before buying
11 of 19 found this helpful I orginally had a DS Lite before it got stolen. I brought a DSi to replace it. Normally when I do that I give the old system to my niece. Her birthday was coming up so I wanted to get her a DS lite so she can still play her Gameboy Advance games (you can not play them on the DSi). Anyway she was turning seven so she doesn't necessarily need a new system so I brought this one. It was cheaper than anyone that was sold in the stores. I didn't care that the touch screen was so scratched up and loose but she and I would live. After she had it for about two weeks and played it then the battery dies. So she tried to charge it. It wouldn't charge. I thought maybe the battery had died so I ordered a new battery for it. Worked fine. Try to charge it after the battery had ran down a little. Still nothing. Long story short I tried everything to make sure it was the gaming system itself and it was. So I would highly recommend considering what I said before buying it unless you know how to fix the charging issue, and scratched and loose touch screen.
