great value product
Bought these for use with a 24v steam raising blower for a miniature steam locomotive. Work and last well and are so compact and lightweight compared to the car batteries previously used. Take less time to charge as well.

Read this book after one of those generalising the history
If you've become familiar with the Franklin story this is one of those books to further help you understand what possibly happened in the first place, and what happened in all the subsequent searches since the expedition disappeared in to the artic. I found a current map of Nunavut and an enlarged copy of Gould's 1932 map enormously helpful. Next for me to read will be David Woodman's 'Unravelling the Franklin mystery', to further understand the Inuit version of events.

Better than an air mattress
Wasn't convinced before I tried it but I have to say far better than an air mattress, (I use it to convert the rear seats of my Transit Custom to a bed). Benefits to having a little air blown in rather than using just the -vacuum effect for inflation.
