Fresh look at ancient history
This book is slow to start, but once you get into it, it is hard to put down. I do not want to give too much away here. The story content is more compelling than the writing, and there are a lot of characters that seem irrelevant, and make the story more confusing, but it is worth pushing through that. The book will make you re-evaluate what you thought you knew. Despite the nature of the controversial and very timely topic (the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock), it is not pro-Israeli or pro-Palestinian, but rather a look at history, what might have happened 1500-2000 years ago, and what that might mean today.
