Adds a strong taste of plastic to your water, which did not diminish over time. Unusable.

Great pool for kids + some chemistry ideas
Great pool for kids. Good value summer entertainment if you can buy at or near normal retail price. Comes WITH a ladder. Pump a bit underwhelming. My chemical method for this pool: 420g of cyanuric acid (99% ; dissolve fully in hot water bucket BEFORE adding to pool; should last all season) + 500ml of liquid sodium hypochlorite (15%) to start... then 70ml of liquid sodium hypo at end of each day to top up. Keep pool covered when not in use. Test chemical levels with '6 in 1' test strips each day. Skim and hoover end of each day. Shock with 600ml sodium hypo once per week. If it smells too chlorine-y it's probably low on chlorine (3 ppm)! Sand pump + salt system is probably better / easier than filter pump (clean weekly) + chemicals.
