Highly stable, well-engineered mini tripod
This is a pleasure to use and handle. It's really well made, simple to operate and very compact. It is quite expensive but in my opinion worth the price. A very high quality piece of kit.

enjoyable read
A very enjoyable read, perhaps losing a little tension towards the end as the story became just a little too improbable.

A perceptive treatment of Churchill
Finney gives a very good performance and captures the contradictions of the great man when he was a voice in the wildness in the 1930s. Vanessa Regrave is equally good. The film is well-plotted and always hold the interest. The film makes a valuable supplement to the more obvertly dramatic film 'The Darkest Hour'. 'The Gathering Storm', however, offers a more subtle portrait of Churchill and is stronly recommended.
