Just what I was looking for!
Great price on 2nd-hand RAM for a T5240. Shipped promptly, packed well, fully functional. And successfully installed and the system reconfigured. :Now, my home beast is a maximal beast. :-)

Holds much better than original mount!
This mount, using adhesive rather than suction cups, holds far better than the original mount, which tends to fall off frequently. The only difficulty of course is removing it once mounted; so get the location right the first time! Removal may require solvent (Goo-Gone is good enough, along with a putty knife, if you take it slow; anything stronger might damage the dashboard if it dripped).
I haven't used it in extremely hot climates (like Phoenix in summer), so I can't say for sure it would work there; but it's fine in normal summers or subfreezing temperatures. One in another car stayed in place for years, and never fell off.
