DOES THE JOB
This a well made, substantial tool. It works equally well on wide and narrow neck jars or bottles. I am very pleased with it.

TOUGH LUMIX
I bought the same model Lumix camera for a friend several years ago, and it had one quality which my own fragile little Canon did not. It is ROBUST, and is still going strong after 5 years. During the time the Lumix has been jogged, bashed, dropped and abused, I got through 3 (YES 3) Canons. Canon turned out to be too delicate for any kind of rugged outdoor activity, so I bought this Lumix for the rough stuff. However, it does not take such good pictures as my Canon, and is not in the same league for indoor, night, and low light piccies. Not too hot at close-ups either. But for long shots, scenery etc., it does the job. It is easy to use, and operates very like the Canon, so no steep learning curve. Also has a nice big display screen - great for outdoor work.
