The Shepherd's Crown by Terry Pratchett (CD-Audio, 2015)

    The Last One
This is Terry Pratchett's last novel and as such was on the shelf for a long time before I read it; I bought the audiobook for my wife's birthday and she has listened to parts of it: the section where a major character passes is still tender in the memory of STP's passing last April. The book is the last in the Tiffany Aching series and a good tribute to the author. A must listen to.

Very good, and well worth it.
This is a great little book, which is best used by dipping into, rather than a concerted reading session. I have become more interested in this area through the works of Terry Pratchett, whose Discworld series abounds with little snippets of superstition similar to those found in this book. I would recommend this book whole heartedly.

A good addition to our STP collection
It felt like the right time to buy this book to complement the DVD. The style is, naturally, a screen play interspersed with images from the film and taken during production, the most poignant images being STP's cameo as the Toymaker. The only slight down side (and not one to put you off buying this book) are the way the images are portayed in the book as being 'stuck' in with sticky tape - a minor quibble, really. Highly recommended for all STP fans.
