It's tiny!
I received this tin whistle today. I should have expected it but I was still surprised by its diminutive size. So cute but any smaller and my fingers wouldn't cover the holes as I can't get them any closer together!

My flute works!
When I bought my flute, years ago, the first thing I did was to remove the hole covers and put them somewhere safe. So safe that I can't find them!
When I saw those for a reasonable price I thought I'd buy them to resolve the lost ones, in case.
I have had problems often getting the bottom C to work properly and was wondering if there was a problem with a pad somewhere.
Putting these covers on has shown me that my flute actually works well: my bottom C is strong and clear! It was my fingers all along!
Now the next step, when I have the time, is to remove them one by one to find out which of my fingers falls at the wrong place and correct that.
