10 of 10 found this helpful Having bought a much more expensive LG 37" (at XMAS) as the main television, we wanted an LCD for the bedroom. This was a cheaper alternative as it is an old model. It has no built in freeview. However, the TV's performance is brilliant. It is not 1080p (like our other), but you would not know it, as the picture quality is fantastic. Clear bright picture and the contrast really good. It would easily do for even large rooms. I cannot fault the picture (remember we have a 1080p as well). One of the wide screen modes gets a bit of getting used to, as it stretches the edge of the picture, but once you have mastered all the functions I am sure you will be as delighted with your purchase as I was ... :0)
