Best choice
Better than expected! The wedding gown is shiny and the black suit is matte which gives it great dimension. Very well painted (no paint from one figure onto the other).

Great for every age!
The very basic plot is a farmer grows balloons and, while he tries to keep the farm running, the little girl in the story tries to find out what magic he uses to make them grow.
This is an excellent book for any age. The pictures are bright and colorful which keeps it visually interesting for children, and the story, while tame, is full of magic and is like nothing you have ever read before. You can also turn this book into an eye spy game because every balloon has a different face that contributes to the charm of the book and there are interesting and sometimes unexpected animals hiding on every page.
I may be 21, but I love this book to death and I will continue reading it until the pages crumble to dust. Then I'll just go buy a new copy.

Wonderfully Strange
1 of 1 found this helpful This collection tells the story of Ginko, a mushi master. What are mushi? They are energy life forms in nature that only a few people can see. While most are harmless, they can sometimes be a nuisance for humans. That's where Ginko comes in. He travels the country fixing the problems mushi cause and helping many wayward humans along the way. Each episode is its own story and they can therefore be watched in any order.
This show is beautiful to watch. While some people aren't the most pleased with the art style for the people, I haven't found one person who didn't enjoy the scenery or the mushi, the main focus of the story. The music is wistful and ethereal, giving the perfect accompaniment to these strange stories. Overall everything is very minimalistic and simple which makes it a very calming series to watch.
Mushi-shi isn't for everyone, but the people who like it adore it.
