JJC Lens Hood for Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO Lens replac LH-66

Possibly better than original Olympus hood.

The original lens hood for the Olympus 12-40 lens is not a very robust design. Mine came apart twice. It has tiny parts and springs which are tricky to reassemble. So far the JJC has held together and seems like a good quality product. The design of the hood attachment on the 12-40 does not seem very secure. I've experienced both hoods being accidentally knocked off the lens. At least the JJC is fairly cheap to replace if you lose it.
