Overpriced poor value/performance
Claimed to be 500A, doubt this very much as this is all steel, no copper braid joining both the jaws, jaws not copper, no cable connection direct to jaws. Seems to be twice the price of similar but β€œ400A” products advertised elsewhere. Should have bought better elsewhere. As I needed it urgently to replace the existing broken one, I modified it drilling out rivets and bolting a copper jaw to jaw braid and a copper cable cleat. Even with my mods still gets quite warm under medium 300A power.
