Great for clearing leaves in driveways
Earlier this year I laid planings (old tarmac). This was then rolled and I spread a thin layer of red whin dust over the surface. However, when I raked leaves, this disturbed the tarmac and this showed through the whin dust and did not look good.
The Bosch blower solved the problem as I can now blow the leaves to the side of the driveway and collect them in a pile. The ability to also vary the blower speed is useful as I can increase the speed to tackle wet leaves - without disturbing the whin dust.
A great product!!!

Glen Skirting Heater
3 of 3 found this helpful I'm using the Glen heater inside an enclosure in my poly tunnel. The enclosure is 1.5m x 1.2m x 1m and is covered with a double layer of bubblewrap - it's used to germinate seeds. I started with a 80w tube heater but this would only get the temperature up to 10 celsius in cold weather. The Glen heater can get the temperature up into the high 20s. As this is too high, I've fitted a plug in thermostat to keep the temperature around 18 and this seems to be working OK. However, on reading the Glen instructions, it says that you should not fit a timing device to the unit - this is not mentioned on the Ebay site. So far it seems to be switching on and off with no problems so I'll see how it performs over the winter (I keep the tube heater on just in case the Glen packs in!!!).

Assembling
The instructions are almost useless. However, using your common sense, the long bolts should be used to connect anything with 2 pipes and the shorter bolts, with burrerfly nuts should be used for the door. I connected the 2s and 3s, and also the 1s and 3s and then connected them to the 5s and 6s. I then turned that assembly over so that the top of the frame was on the ground - needs 2 people for this. I then connected the the 4s, 6s and 5s and tighened everything up with the spanners provided and turned the whole assembly over into an upright possition - probably needs 3 people.
Assemble the door and fit the cover and also connect the stiffening bars and front uprights and the front and back sections (the instructions only show the front sections). Connect the front uprights and latterals in the front - then fit the door. When everything has been tightened up, fit the cover - probably needs 3 people.
Hope this is helpful
