Elixir HD Light 13 - 53 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings +3 FREE Picks

HD Strings are blessed!!!

I initially gave this review a 4 star rating but I changed it to 5 stars, because I normally use a non HD elixir on my guitar and I have gotten used to it, so when I changed for the first time to elixir HD at first it sounded awesome because the smaller strings ring out more I don't have to strum hard on them and they ring out this lovely harmony on the G chord (3,0,0,0,3,3) at the neck and also many other chords like the D chord benefits from the thickness of the strings. Now here is where noticed something not particularly bad but I just had to get used to it, when I amplified the acoustic guitar via its pickup with my old settings it sounded a bit strange and uncomfortable, not bad! But uncomfortable, so I had to do a little EQ to balance out the change of pickup amplified sound coming from the new gauge strings I guess this is not much of a problem I just had to get used to it and get the best out of it. So I gave this string a five star because for me I practice a lot without amplifying the guitar so because this HD strings favours that sound well (in my own ears) I love them now as my main strings I just have to tweak a little when plugged in. Also I consider the type of guitar and also type of pickup would also play a role on the sound of this HD strings, and even on my cheap Fender guitar (dg60ce) they sound great to me.

It did the Job

it is a used fan but it works. suited my pc and worked with out any setups or config.
