An Excellent Introduction to the Subject
As the author himself notes, this work is a compsoite history designed to introduce the reader to the history of the East India Company. The book is laden with rich, colour plates that bring alive what that period in history must have been like. Despite the fact that there are a number of typographical errors it is a compelling read and there is no shortage of specialist works on this topic that the interested reader can pursue after he/she has read this book.

An excellent if dated introduction to the HMHS Britannic
I am a big fan of all three of the Olympic-class Liners and I remember seeing this book in a store when I was backpacking in the 90s but due to space requirements couldn't buy it at the time. I have since read many of Simon Mills' other books on these liners and they are all excellent. Thankfully eBay exists to trade in rare out-of-print books like this so I was able to pick up a copy of this excellent introduction to Britannic complete with lots of rare photographs. A valuable addition to the bookshelf of any fan.

Literally, Inside Star Trek!
Bob Justman (RIP) and Herb Solow were two of the many talented creatives that helped to launch and sustain Gene Roddenberry’ ‘wagon train to the stars’.
I remember first reading this book when the special edition TOS DVDs were released in 2009/10. This book is filled with rare photos, facsimile memos, production notes and many personal anecdotes by the authors.
If you are passionate about Star Trek then this book will be on your bookshelf.
