My life after Jubilee
Like a long dark kiss across my inebriated memory, seeing this film again, after so long, reminded me of how perverse we really were,us pre-hiv,taboo busting punk rocking rockers. Johnny Rotten dismissed sex as squelching, but as this film shows, we were all squelching away in a gleaming leather clad, deutscher girl, clockwork orange obssesed stylie. Small wonder the 80s became PC valley. Great film. Great memories. I'd watch it again!

Does nothing change?
This book from 2000 remains an interesting document as to why forensic nursing is still in such a mess; we can't decide who or what we are...getting bogged down in the paradoxical semantics of custody, whilst never really questioning why we are the poor suckers who have to carry out these wretched tasks!!! Why not Psychologists, Doctors, OTs or Social Workers? Why can't they get involved in the real nitty-gritty of forensic care? Whilst this medieval demarcation exists, no forensic client will ever want to work therapeutically with us!! They hate us too much!! And who can blame them!!

A damn fine read..albeit unsettling...
The understanding of rage remains both horribly familiar whilst simultaneously alien and bizarre; we remain fascinated by an emotional process that seems to encapsulate all that is atavistic about human life, but is part and parcel of the most intellectually attuned minds...without it we'd never have the impetus to get out of bed..and helpfully this book allows us to look at the way in which rage can overwhelm the most innocous of indivduals with horrific results; I would recommend this book to anyone interested in understanding more about this subject
