Dunsley Highlander Operating Tool 02017

This tool is needed to operate the grate bars to riddle the ash into the ash pan below the grate.

This product was needed as a replacement for the one that was worn out, to operate the grate bars of our Yorkshire Dunsley stove. It was great to have found one to buy on line.

Not the best Obelisk to work on.

It wasn't the dearest and it wasn't the cheapest Obelisk on the market. However, though the instructions were easy to follow, it wasn't that easy to work with. There were metal blobs in places that made it harder to fit together. Also the nuts went straight through the holes they were to fit in. It was difficult to get them back out again. I had to get some stoppers for the bolts. I then, was able to complete the Obelisk. It actually looks good in the garden. I can't recommend it due to the hassle I had putting it together. Maybe stoppers should be supplied with it on future orders.

Look Good

Got these for the Hubby as a stocking filler. The others he has used for years to widen his trainers are really wearing out. Though I can't comment on the use of them right now. They certainly look like they will do the job perfectly. Happy Christmas & a Great New Year.
