Light Comedy with timeless Music and Dance

This is a pairing of two Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers films made in 1935 and 1937. with, still familiar, songs by Irving Berlin and George & Ira Gershwin and dance routines which have never been matched in over 80 years. Light comedy which is easy on the eyes and ears.

Faithful to the Books

These are Region 1 DVDs, based on the books by Donna Leon, with dialogue in German and subtitles in English. They are reasonably faithful to the original plots. The background of Venice adds to the visual appeal. As a fan of the books I am satisfied but an English soundtrack would have been even better.
