Blake's 7 - Series 4 (DVD, 2006, 4-Disc Set)

rip-roaring end to the series!
Blake's 7 is one of those series that only seems to get better with the passage of time. Loved it as a kid. But didn't expect to find it quite so riveting all these years later. The final series is probably my least favourite of the four - the loss of most of the original cast along with the original ship and the series producer take their toll a little. But the overall standard of stories is still good - some of them are corkers. And I can't think of any series that ever delivered a more conclusive, more shocking ending. Truly memorable.

a true classic
Classic series from the "golden age" of 1960s ITC detective drama. Long overdue release - for some reason only a handful of episodes were ever released on VHS or DVD before. Great to finally watch the series in its entirety uncut and looking better than ever before. "Well done, Mark Caine!"
