a detailed list of engines toward the back of this book, a history of, as it suggests, well happy to have this in my archive, nowt else to add!

I like it!!
if you are into Northern Soul you cannot be without a few instrumentals, personally, all I really liked back in the 70s were the instrumentals, ok "Reaching for the Best", "Out on the Floor", "Goodbye nothing to Say" were among a few exceptions, BUT "Time is Tight", "Sea Cruise" + one inst version of a woman singing and piano going along the scales, forget its title but these instrumentals were generally quite powerful - one night excursion to Cleethorpes ( that was enough, we were up as usual day folk and it didnt start til the pubs had chucked out and it was damn cold in the car waiting and it was really hard to stay awake, all of us drank but didnt takethe "hundreds and thousands" multicoloured pills we saw casually discarded in the urinal, stimulants? who knows or cares but without 'em we we knackered by 3am!!! and the bright sunlight for the drive home gone 8am was BLINDING!!! great experience though!!) and all these faves of mine that I had picked from my workmates "Blues and Soul" mag and acquired some on the then vinyl 45s, sadly sold when I married,were all "aired" through the night anyway, this CD - some I know/knew and some I havn't heard, great stuff, highly recommended even if you aint a die hard Northern Soul afficianado!! nuff said!!
