1080P HDMI To SCART Composite Video Scaler Converter Audio Adapter for DVD SKY

Works well but picture size too large
My new Virgin V6 box has no conventional SCART socket. So I bought this to convert my Virgin V6 HDMI output to SCART as I have an existing SCART cable from my living room to the TV in the kitchen. This adaptor works fine and the picture is good. The only problem is that the picture on the kitchen TV is slightly too large and the edges of the picture do not appear on screen. I can live with this but I do not know how to correct it.
WOT-NOTS Auxiliary Cigar Lighter Plug - PWN392

Not as shown in picture
The plug as supplied had a removable red plastic end-section, not shown in the Ebay picture. This came off and got stuck in the socket in my car. I managed to remove it and am using the plug without this part. Wiring it was a bit tricky as there were no instructions and the internal fuse popped out onto the floor and I had to search for it! No rubber grommet is provided for the cable outlet. However, it is cheap and looks solid enough to take the 10A current for my tyre inflator (the previous plug, supplied with the inflator, melted!) Despite the problems, it seems to work OK.
