As Expected So Far ...
1 of 1 found this helpful The installation took place without any problems. Fit was that of the original. If I'm not mistaken, the same company molded the original. My only issue with the original was that the cushion section separated from the hard plastic base. While I rarely leave the tractor outside, it is normally kept in the barn or one of the garages, neither of which are heated. Consequently, elements of the design must take this into consideration. Having said, the original lasted for 12 years, and hopefully the replacement will be as durable. Sometimes they don't ... hence the 4 stars.

Better Deburring Tool
Probably the only reason RCBS doesn't include this in their reloading packages is because it's an aggressive tool. Unless you carefully remove just enough material, it would be easy to remove too much. Take a throw-away case and see what I mean. You can trim enough off to make a razor shape case mouth if not careful. Personally I didn't see any better starting of boat-tail bullets after using this on cases. My dies will align the bullet as it enters the seating die. If you have an RCBS lube brush ... this fits that handle. I don't use that lube system for cases anymore, so it was nice to not need to buy a handle as well as the deburring tool. This tool does the job easier ... but as I said, you have to closely monitor your cutting progress so as to not damage the cases.

Holds Cases Nicely and Is Not Too Lightweight
My only complaints about this tray ... and they are minor considering the cost ... are that the machining was 'good', and there were sharp edges - very sharp edges on the sides. Having said, and the reason for the 4 stars, this is hands down much better than the one-size-fits-all tray that came with my RCBS system. The depth of the caliber specific holes are deep enough to hold the cases nicely. The plastic tray does not. I fill each case and immediately seat a bullet, so I'm not relying on the case to be held for that purpose, but it would be very difficult to spill a tray of finished rounds ... or powder filled cases ready for bullet seating. I like the weight for that reason as well. IMO it's one of those items that shouldn't easily slide across your bench top. Again ... aesthetically some minor issues ... but man is that one edge sharp. Otherwise ... 20 bucks including delivery ... not much in reloading is as inexpensive. More bang for your buck ... if you know what I mean.
