Trap design fault

4 nights rodents entered the cage and took the bait and escaped the trap. there is a gap above the trap door my assumption is this is were mice escape once they have eaten the bait. Cannot catch rats if the bait keeps disappearing with smaller rodents laughing at my feeding them.

Disappointed

Once used it degrades and seems to disappear much like shaving foam does, this means replacing is a daily habit and a tube goes nowhere. Also not as affective as bacon or peanut butter in my opinion. I have success most nights in my rural area using other baits, no success with this product.
