Rusting, cable cracking. Will not last.
If you're going to use these, just make sure your supply is closeby and using something easy to change like Wago connectors because I can guarantee that you're going to want to replace these within a couple of years.
The output light isn't bad and they're pulling close to their rating at ~8W... But they are cheap for a reason. It's a real shame.

Bad seal, completely different feel
2 of 2 found this helpful The first thing I noticed was how glossy the back felt. The original was a satin feel that hid fingerprints. The finish on this is nasty cheap plastic that smears.
Then when installing I noticed how different the seals were. The original seal is very thin rubbery seal, all the way around. This is a thin layer of glue. It will hopefully do the job for dust but I'm not taking this one anywhere near water.

Hard to say how effect this is so early on
Through laziness, I let a load of wood get nasty. And through laziness, rather than replace it, I sloshed a load of this all over it using a high pressure sprayer. Then I waited a few days and hit it again. And again. Then painted it with some waxed paint to keep it dry (and the other side is well ventilated).
It hasn't changed the structure of the wood like some plasticising wood treatments —for filling— do but that was never an advertised feature so I'm not bothered about that.
More than anything, I personally feel better for having done something. It's impossible to say how effective this will be in the long run at this early stage, but yeah, this isn't as expensive as ripping out wood and replacing it... So why not?!
Caveat: Obviously don't mess around with deep-seated rot in structural wood. The the wood is compromised, replace it.
