Vax U85 better than Vax Edge!?
1 of 1 found this helpful I replaced my VAX U85 with this model & I am of the opinion that the U85 is superior to this one in a number of ways:
Vax Edge cons: a) The 'waste' container is awkward to hold when emptying & brushing clean. b) The filter & inner is difficult to remove because of the push up' holding mechanism. c) The 'delicate' & thin metal 'filter' is hard to clean do to the bristles of the brush catching in the holes. d) The battery very quickly drops from '4 green' lights to an 'ANNOYING' flashing red light when 'boost' is used for more than a couple of minutes.
