A whimsy
An example of a guy who forms an idea and then goes looking for the evidence to support it. Badly researched and quoted; if you check the notes, he is often requoting "a source" such that you never get to the origin. Bad practice. SOmetimes he quotes himself. Full of daft statistics which Disraeli would have scoffed at. "In the U.S., the potential contribution of breast milk has been estimated at $110 billion per year". Yeah, right.
Some fun daydreams but this is not a reference book. In pre-internet days this would never have got a publisher.

Too non-specific and poor diagrams
This manual tries to cover too many models and as such ends up giving you the basic information which you can pretty much work out for yourself.
The diagrams are old style as if done by a child with a crayon. Poor.
Compared to a Haynes manual this is only about 30 - 40% as useful, but unfortunately it seems to be the only one around for the Alfa Spider.
So on that basis it is better than nothing.

They stay in tune!
Used these to replace the hopeless Gibson G force automatic tuning system. Doddle to fit, look great and the guitar stays in tune beautifully. They should have been fitted from the start.
