Simple and functional

I love this products simplicity and design. The top section folds over to hold the toilet roll in use while the stand holds the spare toilet rolls. Perfect if you don't have anywhere to screw a wall mounted holder.

Too fiddly and complicated for an older person

Bought this for my aged and deaf mother (the tow things go hand in hand) but the button to amplify the sound coming out of the speaker is a fiddly recessed thing on the side of the handset. It is also not a locked on feature. My mother has to find the button and press it on every call while the caller at the other end is wondering what is going on. There is no setting to make this (load audio) stay on permanently. It's an afterthought bolted onto a phone designed for normal use, not a designed-in feature. Don't buy unless the person you are buying for is OK with a separate button to press to make it loud.
