Mini Whisky Book
OK if all you want is to swiftly skim the surface of the whisky knowledge loch but it does not have any depth of information.

A great read, totally authentic, compelling pace.
It may be an old book, but the story is totally compelling. Burger and Simpson capture the spirit of the USN Pacific Fleet submarine crews and put this into a modern-day context. No spoilers here, but if you want a novel that combines warfare with sci-fi, then you should rack down a copy of this book.
As a fan of the factual accounts of these Fleet boats and their crews, I found the research to have been thorough and echoed the statements of those who sailed in these boats such as Mush Morton and Dick O'Kane. It's worth taking y9our time to become acquainted with the layout of a Fleet boat using the diagram supplied as this will enable you to follow the twists and turns as the story unfolds.
