Buy new
I should have just bought new. This part allowed me to further diagnose my issues, identifying another part needing replacement. Ultimately I put in the original part back in to clear up the problem.

What a tool!
This is the first tablet I've owned, though I've spent time with others. When shopping for one I was reminded of why I'm a die hard Android fan and will never be an iPhone/iPad supporter. This was primarily purchased for using at work, out at job sites, doing things that couldn't do on a phone, plus the bigger screen is really a plus when looking at construction plans. Being water proof was a big selling factor as sometimes I'm out in the rain.
Screen is precise and looks awesome, and there are fun features that don't seem to be on many other non-Sony devices. Connecting options to TV and other devices and an IR transmitter (can't tell you how fun it is to go to a bar like environment when everyone is focused on some game on the TVs, and you quietly sit in the corner and start changing the channels!).
Battery life seems really good. This is a replacement as the one I bought new dropped at a weird angle and broke the screen and plastic corner. The battery seems not quite what the new one was, but they are not all "the same".
Lastly, I'd really really like a hard case with a BT keyboard combo. The iPuds have them available in a sturdy aluminum but i haven't found one for the Z2. There is a hard plastic case keyboard combo, but I went through three of them in no time as the hinge springs are too strong and the hinges quickly break away from the case.
