Bought two for use with 2 Google Home Minis and they work great!
Bought two for use with 2 Google Home Minis and they work great!
Note that they do not come with a power adapter/wall wart, so you have to use your own. Make sure your own is rated to at least the amperage (amps) required by the device. So the Home Mini requires ~1.5 amps. If you have an old phone adapter around that is probably not enough amps, so you will find insufficient power to do various things such as pay a song, etc. A song will play for the first few seconds, but then the Mini will reboot.

Not cheap, but does what is claimed and is a temperature sensor as well.
Not cheap, but does what is claimed and is actually a temperature sensor as well.
Battery lasts a decent amount of time. I have had some for about one and one half years and they report still having around 70% battery life left.
I have found another brand to be functionally the same thing (internals appear exact) and perform just as well: PEQ brand - different packaging and different pattern on the white casing of the sensor itself. I have found them for less money. Completely pleased with those as well. Why wouldn't I be as far as I can tell internally they are identical.

Did the trick
No problems. Quality seems quite good.
