no frills, high quality tool
I bought an AEG cordless drill about 15 yrs ago, as I worked in a speaker building factory, & the air tools were a bit annoying sometimes. It spent years screwing 50mm screws into premium grade birch ply, all day, 5 days a week, and done numerous night club installations, camper van conversions, and many other things.
I'd be more than happy to upgrade it for a modern lithium powered cordless, but the thing just will not die!!
They're German made, metal gear box, great motors, & really ergonomic.
Ok, so this is about a jigsaw I just bought. So, when I needed a jigsaw, I went straight for the same range as the cordless, & if it lasts half the time of that, I'll be delighted.
As they're kind of a bit older, with fewer 'go-faster' stripes on them, they can be bought for a fraction of the price of a new equivalent.
1st job for the jigsaw was cutting up some 2mm stainless sheets. The sort of metal that eats a whole angle grinder cutting disk in about 50cm.
The jigsaw breezed through it easily.
It's probably paid for itself in saved grinder disks already!
Easy swap jigsaw blades, easy change angles & blade speed control, comfy to use.
There is nothing not to like.
Proper pro tool.

Best really cheap ipad.
I believe this is the best of the cheap ipads. Significantly less than £200, and fully capable of loading up google maps, firefox browser, and other things that certain other ipads don't let you use.
For some reason, it won't connect with my imac (2011) but does work with PCs (go figure) However, Discord app is free, and dropping any kind of file into my 'data dump' server means I can access it from any device.
Adblock plus doesn't work, on Utube for example, but I think thats just standard with tablets.

Cheap & extremely hard wearing.
Fed up with cheap chinese tyres, that only last 1yr, or even just 8 months in one case, I spent quite a bit of time looking at different brands & reviews, and ended up getting 4 of these Barum Bravuris HMs.
I run them harder pressure than the usual recomendations, because: better tyre wear, better fuel economy, although presumably less grip, but I never had a problem with grip, and I do throw my clio around a bit sometimes, if the roads are empty.
That was 3 yrs ago, and I've only just had to replace the fronts, because they were a fraction under 1.6mm. Its a shame, because they still had plenty of mileage in them, imo. Totally even wear, and no mis-shape. The backs are still going fine.
From what I remember, Barums are built in Germany, and are semi-related to Continental tyres, so they know their stuff.
Price wise, they were just under £50 each, iirc, so they're only a fraction more expensive than cheap chinese tyres anyway.
Absolute bargain!
