Ham Actor captured by Pirates, gets involved in a secret treasure match. Rescues a Princess and escapes to a Pirate stronghold then chaos.

Good family entertainment, extremely funny. Considering the age of the film extremely well filmed in great technicolour. Classic Pirate film great for children, and Adults alike.

Engaging entertaining 1960's TV Series. Well worth watching.

Considering this Series was aired on TV in the 1960's ,it still remains remarkably good. The stories are well written and their are a lot of up and coming stars in the episodes. Okay this series is in Black and White but has superb incidental music. I would recommend this series.

Norman History interest

An unusual aspect of Norman History. The warrior Barons and their relationship with their Serfs in Northern France. Unfortunately the Main Characters have no great attributes, so difficult to relate to them. Charlton Heston looks the part but struggles to carry the film. Generally an average film of B Class Standard.
