Good quality
If you can get this for double or even triple the cost of the cheaper Chinese counterparts I wouldn't hesitate. The switch has a high cycle life and when fully set the switch doesn't give false signals as it returns to its home point, other lesser sensors do. Just note like with any most sensors you'll need a 20mm gland.

Not as reliable as original but ok
These last about 2 years for us so as long as it isn't too hard to change then I'd say go for it, and buy a spare too!

Quite disappointing
2 of 2 found this helpful The unit is well made and I've no doubts it'll last, the charge it can hold is quite good.
The main issue is the solar panel and the implementation, the solar panel is rated for 5v and can only achieve this in clear sun, if there is cloud cover the voltage drops, this means that unless it's a clear, sunny day you won't receive any charge at all as the unit doesn't even trickle charge unless sunny.
If you are away camping and rely on this unit you'll likely find you can't sustain any devices, I used it in Cornwall and even with moderately sunny days wasn't able to keep a device charged.
If you're using this device where sunny days are common, you'll probably be fine, otherwise do be aware of the limitations.
