- cleavlndenterprise (217)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchase**NEGATIVE! The buyer clearly DID NOT read the item description. The very first sentence stated the total shipping amount, which was not paid by the buyer. I reached out to let buyer know and buyer told me to cancel order. Ebay would not allow me to cancel or refund, so I offered to refund buyer's money via Venmo or personal check. Buyer opted for personal check and I mailed it in FULL asap. It was cashed immediately.

For the money...
3 of 3 found this helpful Whenever a reviewer says "It's a good xxxx for the money" watch out. It means something doesn't work well but reviewer will put up with it. Same with this scope. I am pleasantly surprised with image quality at all magnifications, including the highest. Magnification adjustment is firm but good. Reticle is good. Elevation and windage adjustments are passable. Maybe. Here is where the "good for the price" comes in. I mounted this scope on an inexpensive Marlin .17 cal rifle to replace the Marlin scope that came with the rifle. When I first got it zeroed I shot small groups at 100 yards and the same at 75 and 25 yards. But after I let barrel cool the scope was way off. The settings wandered. I re-zeroed but they wandeed again and kept doing so after each 5 rounds or so. They seemed to stabilize after about 30 rounds. It might be just a quirk with a brand new scope or it might be a "for the money" issue and will never go away. It will be pretty useless if it doesn't stabilize and then I'll just junk it and put the Marlin scope back on. It shouldnt take 50 rounds! In my experience you have to pay at least $400 to get a scope with no issues but I thought I'd give this one a try on a very cheap rifle with virtually no recoil.
If the scope finally holds its settings I'll post a comment. In the meantime, based on this experience, don't expect a complex optical-mechanical instrument to perform all it's functions well "for the money"
