This item put down to experience!

On insertion into the laptop, got message "You need to format the disk in drive D: before you can use it." Using the Windows formatting option, got message "Windows was unable to complete the formatting." Downloaded SD Card Formatter, which also failed to format the card. Last 5 entries in log file: [ERROR] Invalid end of sector signature: 0x0000 [ERROR] exfat_check_validate_boot_sector returned error: 22 (Invalid argument) [ERROR] Initializing cached values failed: 22 (Invalid argument) [ERROR] Generated invalid volume. exfat_volume_create returned: 22 (Invalid argument) chkdsk also returned an error message. Got fed up with wasting my time. Have had a large size PNY SD Card for several years without any problems. This micro version will be consigned to the bin!

Happy hammering.

Not much to go wrong with a hammer wedge! Having said that, the one I have used so far responded well to being hit very hard - with the result that a club hammer head, which kept coming loose, now doesn't!
