The crap came off the ground dug coins
When hunting in the Anatolian plains I used to find handfuls of bronze, copper and iron coins. These were Roman and Byzantine coins that washed out of the tells or ancient mounds. The cattle, sheep and goats tear out the grass and the rain sends the coins down the hills. I never cleaned any and bought the cleaning kit. The old dirt, corrosion and scale looked bad but at least 3/4 of it came off. I might try an ultra sound bath next.

Good design
I hate it when removing your pistol the holster closes like a clam. If you reholster these clam holsters, you have hold the leather in one hand and keep poking your pistol with the other. This holster has reinforcements to prevent it from flattening. The pistol goes in as fast as it came out.

Classic 1950s Disney.
Years before Dan-O, the detective of 5-0 and friend of Steve McGarrit, James McArthur was under contract to Disney and did a series of adventure movies. He was far better than people have him credit for. So many Disney Legends are gone. Johnny Shiloh, Toby Tyler, Nine Lives of Elfego Baca, Texas John Slaughter, Davy Crockett. They only came out for a short run of DVDs and it was limited. The VHS tapes were produced in much larger runs. Why the company does not re release them???Ten Who Dared, Savage Sam the Old Yeller sequel-all like hens teeth. Wonderful memories. Wonderful movies.
