Ad Visions Of Gerard By Kerouac
Read this Sad story about Jack's late nine year old brother when Kerouac was only 4 years old. We may not understand everything at 4 but later on in life when Kerouac grew older, he dreamed of his brother Gerard alive and dead! I have always had an artistic interest in death myself and found some of the book intriguing.
Gerard's body, laid in state in the Kerouac home until burial which left quite an impression on Jack at 4
The book was also written in a different style then regular bio style Jack was famous for if that intrigues you?
No collection of Kerouac books is complete without help from ebay in my opinion. It is a little different.

Ride In This Book With The American Cowboy...Will James
Like Lone Cowboy philosophically, American Cowboy is similar but maybe slightly more exciting. Not a cheap book for me, I like what I've read of American Cowboy. In all honesty I'm still reading but I like how this cowboy thinks and wrote and drew his drawings. It's not hard to imagine what a good hombre he was who grew up as a boy on horseback into a man. I have read elsewhere that James died of a physical ailment in the 1940s that woulda been hard to take. But he wrote like a hero on horseback who was not just trying to impress. He wrote another book more for kids called Smoky, that did very well. A legend was born this way from perhaps a time in America that had a little better values I think? You may or may not agree? Take a ride no matter where you are with the American Cowboy, Will James.
