Botched cancellation
I was unsatisfied with this buy on two counts: 1) Ebay's website populated my "ship to" address wrong 3 out of 4 times. 2) The vendor does not attempt to support Ebay's cancellation feature and charged me a restock fee which was not disclosed prior to the return;
The order was made during a period in which the vendor was not open for business, and the cancellation was submitted only a few minutes later. The vendor's assertion that they work these transactions in the order in which they arrive by email is not true. Ebay indicated that buys and cancellations are routed to the vendor in parallel, yet when the vendor opened for business 2 days after the order was made, they processed the ship order and notified me 6 hours later that they weren't able to process the cancellation. Not true. The cancellation was right next to the order and would have been plainly evident were the business to have looked over the new transactions before shipping. If a vendor's policy is to ship all orders and then review their inbox for cancellations, they're not supporting Ebay's cancellation feature. Then, they charged me a restock fee. I hold Ebay responsible for the crummy website that kept substituting the ship to address I entered with a different one on file, and I blame the vendor for making no attempt to process the cancellation that couldn't have been received more than a few orders apart. Not happy with Ebay nor the vendor. Product seems to work, at least.
