Mechanical or nothing.
0 of 2 found this helpful If you have already been spoiled by a mechanical keyboard then you don't want to go anywhere near this. I would love this keypad, but it has two major flaws.
(1.) The keycaps are not mechanical and thus extremely sticky feeling in comparison. Its something you can get use to, but if your switching back and forth between two types of keycaps then you going to have a bad time.
(2.) The key spacing and design are inherently flawed. When i bought this i didn't notice that all the keys were lined up... unlike a natural keyboard. This creates a learning curve for your muscle memory and again something you don't want to be switching back and forth between (keyboard and keypad). The second thing i didn't notice was the lack of tapering on the keys. This is a major MAJOR issue when you need to be fast with the keys. Since the keys aren't tapered like normal keys they feel bunched together. You WILL hit multiple keys when you don't mean to.
Ever try gaming on an iMac keyboard or a MacBook? Its like that, but with long pressed sticky keys that are in the wrong position.
