8 of 11 found this helpful If you are looking for a compact point&shoot, this camera is probably not for you. If you are looking for something like a DSLR with a 28mm lens that will fit in your pocket, then this is the camera you were hoping for. The image quality rivals most DSLRs and the customization features far exceeds all DSLRs.
If you like to shoot wide and travel without, well, anything, then the GR is the way to go. There is a little bit of a learning curve, so give yourself some time to get familiar with this camera before you endeavor to take a trip with it.
While it is a "cult camera" for "street shooters", I find it is terrific for landscapes and other applications.
