    Too much $ per watt
    With the increased output power of 2 meter rigs like the Yeasu FT-2900, and the Icom IC-8000, there is less need for acquiring these small type amplifiers at such a high cost.

    Way off. Reads phantom watts
    You will need to buy a good meter so that you can use IT to calibrate this crappy thing.

    Good enough.
    A basic item like this is hard to mess up. I did notice the couplers get warm at 1000 watts, but it is acceptable for amateur use.
