A good product, new prices are a complete rip-off though.
The vertical mouse puts your hand in something like anatomical position, which reduces torsion on the ligaments in the wrist, this almost immediately reduced the carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand. the only slight drawback for myself is the "back button" which is on the left side of the mouse, very easy to hit when going for the mouse itself, bumping you off the page that you are working on, or out of the application completely. I have however, worked around this by re-defining that button to a function that doesn't interfere as much. All in all, a good product & good value at the price I paid for it 2nd hand(25% of RRP) - I would have to say, taking into account construction quality & features, in my opinion, the RRP is about double what I would value the item at new.
