Perfect for projects
Perfect little step up. Small and high quality design. Came with mounts to easily fit into a project. LED voltmeter is off slightly, but provides a good enough indication. Have this in a project powering embedded devices from 3.7v LiPo. Will be ordering more of these in due course. Is able to consistently provide its output voltage (12v) from a LiPo 4.2v to 3.2v.

More to it than first meets the eye!
1 of 1 found this helpful When I ordered this, I simply wanted a means to build a wireless camera suited to my needs. Due to it being a module design, this allows you to customise housing for it. Can even modify a cigarette packet into a covert camera, or a teddy bear to turn into a nanny cam.
The camera is of good quality, the video is crisp and clear, much clearer than what I expected. It also houses a microphone.
The battery pack is easily detachable, either to replace or to use others. Appears of good quality and offers the time advertised.
It's range is quite acceptable, providing you are using a high quality AP the streaming quality is good at distances about 30m from the AP. It comes with a small antenna that can be positioned for best connection.
The app provides a good wealth of features to access, view and control the camera. Setting up can be a little tedious, however is quite straightforward once you're used to it, making it easier to join other APs or to use the WiFi tether of your device.
It also runs a web interface, that you can access with a web browser. This allows to use 3rd party camera apps, like TinyCam etc. to stream. There is also a wealth of options in this interface, including adding other users with different access rights and privileges. There is also a feature allowing you to join upto 9 other identical cameras for a multicamera feature.
It also has quite good motion detection which can send push notifications to your device.
Overall I am extremely impressed with this gadget. Definitely worth every penny! I was not expecting it to have the features it does. Very well designed, both hardware and software.

Saved my Android Tablet from oblivion
After nearly bricking an Android tablet, my usual OTG cable just wasn't powering the keyboard in time. This very low cost gadget allowed me to power the keyboard prior to boot over OTG allowing me to access the EFI/Bios (not accessible via volume keys). It has dual use, so the power can power your gadgets (powered OTG hub) or charge your device. Great value for money and good quality design.
