Great Headset - Buyer Beware Proprietary Cable!

Fantastic sound, good microphone, comfortable - it's a great set of cans HOWEVER. ONLY the proprietary Sennheiser cables will work - UNP PC or UNP Console cables are REQUIRED for this headset to work. STANDARD 2.5MM TRRS (IE 3-Ring Headset) CABLES WILL NOT WORK! I suspect this is because a metal ring on the outside of the cable serves as a ground.
