Done a smashing job of tidying up my rusted engine, exhaust and front brake calipers
Bought for the purpose of painting my engine block, exhaust manifold and front brake calipers on a 1997 Fiat Ducato motorhome, that had been left sitting for a while. Obviously the key to any paint project is the preparation, so after using wire brush, wet and dry sand paper to remove all the loose rust, then cleaned off any dirt and grease with warm soapy water. I applied several thin coats to build up the layers.
When finished I was amazed at the results and the difference it made, colour is fantastic.
Also I have painted calipers before using a can of caliper paint in red, which was difficult to apply, took ages to dry and then as soon as you got any brake cleaner or brake fluid on the paint it took it straight off. Well this spray, after spraying both of my front calipers and the drums on the rear. While rebuilding my calipers i.e putting the new rubber seals and pistons back int them, I accidentally spilt some brake fluid on the new paint, used a clean dry rag to wipe it off straight away and guess what no paint removal what so ever.
So obviously more resistant to chemicals etc.

Top notch primer paint, goes on evenly, covers well and dries to a tough finish
Ordered this primer to apply as a primer to some steel wheel that are fitted to my motorhome and went badly rusty. I first used a grinder with wire brush wheel to remove all the loose rust and clean it up, the sanded the wheels then applied 2-3 coats of this primer. Very pleased with this primer paint. Goes on very evenly, covers well, looks great and dries to a tough finish ready for the top coat.
As it's cold now, I first left the cans inside at room temperature overnight then when I came to use them I filled a jug up with hot water and placed the can in it just to warm the paint. This helps prevent orange peel effect you sometimes get. Just remember to dry any drips of water of the can when removing it from the hot water.

Comes off easily once applied
Bought this spray for my exhaust, however used it just recently for spraying the inside part of new brake disc where the hub bolts go through as they usually get quite rusty quickly and with alloy wheels can look awful. So I lightly rubbed down with some wet and dry sandpaper before degreasing and cleaning first with brake cleaner then with Isopropyl Alcohol let dry then applied 2 coats of this spray. Left for well over 12 hours to cure (dry) when I came to handle them the paint was just rubbing off on my hands. Not happy at all with this product very very disappointed especially as it's Simoniz
