Senheiser HD380 PRO -- Wearable, but sonically -- just about bearable.
2 of 2 found this helpful Closed back headphones -- Great for keeping noise from others, As far as isolation goes, these are borderline unbeatable. .But that isolation comes at a price, as these headpones definitly suffer from "sweet spot" syndrome -- too quiet & the sound is boxey and lifeless, too loud & it sounds throttled & squashed......but get it just right & they do sound great.
Unfortnatle for me, coming from a studio monitoring background, this is not enough.
Frequencys should stay balanced from soft too loud -- but these wont allow that.
For more sophisticated studio work, i would advise the HD600, but if your on a budget, and want to do music off a laptop in front room, these are ideal for not pissing off your wife (speaks from experoience!!)
6/10 --- like i said -- wearable, and just about bearable :)
