Wrong shape!
I am used to a more bulbous shape like most optical mice. I was subsequently given a traditionally shaped mouse which is use as opposed to this flatter shaped model. For me it was a waste of money.

Good product!
It is very robust even when you do not go for the optional screw in feature but just rely on being able to tighten against the newel post at the top of the stairs. Only thing I would suggest is that they make clear in the fitting instructions that a spirit level is essential to fitting it correctly such that everything works as it should when installed. The video insturctions were very good (a picture tells a thousand words). My grandson who will shortly be 2 years old and is very robust was unable to get it open so it passed the stiffest of tests!

Arrived on time, fitted in car no problem and has started everytime since including 2,500 mile trip around Europe.
